Erin RaeJust a small-town girl, writing in a lonely world.
Erin Rae was a born reader. From the time she could read, she had a book in her hand everywhere she went. And, she often had a backup just in case she finished the first one. Like most people, her writing began in school as part of her English class. It wasn’t until her freshman English teacher told her mother, “she writes like a novelist,” that she thought she was different. After spending almost 30 years in the public-school classroom helping students with their own writing, and keeping her own writing in her head, Erin Rae took a leap. She wrote down her words, and her worlds came to life. You can contact Erin at E[email protected] or subscribe on Substack. |
The Church for SinnersIn the rural plains of West Texas in a small dying town is the Church for Sinners. Of course, that is not what the congregation call it, but that is what it is. Each Sunday and Wednesday, the sinners gather and scatter among the pews, guilty and full of sin. Each one has a story to tell.
As gossip collides with truth, neighbors' lives overlap in a pile-up of sardonic humor, observational insight, and the real-life consequences of everyday choices. The Church for Sinners proves that no matter how tightly you close the curtains, there's always someonwho can sneak a peek inside. Now available on Amazon: https://a.co/d/84lcgUX |
